David is an
attorney, political commentator, and New York Times best-selling
author. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and spent much of
his career representing religious liberty cases. He is the past
president of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education and
is currently the senior editor of The Dispatch and a columnist for
Time, having previously served as a staff writer for National
Review. His latest book (released September 2020) is Divided We
Fall: America's Secession Threat and How to Restore Our
Nation.
